Spring Term: Week 2

Tami Tam

All of our boarders continue to work incredibly hard throughout the school day. Due to the time difference, some of our Asian boarders are needing to alter their sleep routines in order to ensure that they are present in their classes later on in the day! Such dedication towards their studies is celebrated widely among the staff and I am left in no doubt that their resilience and drive which is currently being shown on a daily basis will pave the way for future success as they move onto their senior schools and beyond.

Closer to home, this week we welcomed back two more boarders to Colstocks. They have settled back in with minimal fuss and it has been wonderful to feel the increase in energy around the House.

Although the boarders in school were fairly limited with what they could do last weekend, it did not stop them from enjoying a good mix of activities and downtime. These activities included a walk, spending time in the sports hall, playing board games and cookie baking. My great thanks to the House staff who spent the weekend on rota supporting the boarders.

This weekend we will be holding a ColstocksTeams call so that all of the boarders can catch up with each other, wherever they are around the world.
