Summer Term: Week 2
The first weekend back in school presented an opportunity for the boarders to engage in some much needed downtime and to catch up with friends and family after a busy week. On Saturday afternoon Mr Reed took the new boarders for a tour of Eastbourne in the school minibus and in the evening the boarders came together for a movie night in the lounge. On Sunday Mrs Tomsett took the residents of Colstocks for a walk on the Downs and an ice cream.
The weather this week has been kind to us and it has presented an opportunity to spend the evenings outside on the field. Our boarders have been playing cricket, football, tennis and basketball as part of their after supper activities programme or just enjoying the evening sun with friends in a more relaxed environment.
This weekend the boarders will be enjoying a Boxercise class with Mrs Murray and on Sunday they will be going for a seafront walk with Miss Schiphorst. We hope to be able to reintroduce our Sunday trips programme after the exeat weekend.
Congratulations to Jean Tuffigo, this week’s recipient of Tommo’s Trophy, for making such a positive start to life as a Colstocks boarder.
