Practically perfect performances in every way!

This term the parents, pupils, staff and wider community at St Andrew’s Prep were lucky enough to watch the spectacle that was the Middles’ production of Mary Poppins Jr. Driven by an almost non-stop soundtrack including the classics such as Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, the energy-infused show was exhausting to watch let alone perform. Visually stunning with clever choreography, bright and colourful costumes and an excellent set, the cast and crew of over 80 children demonstrated their impressive musicality, story-telling and love of performance.

A huge well done to those involved for their hard work and dedication, all brought together by Mrs Radley’s endless enthusiasm and energy. The performances were ‘practically perfect in every way!’

Two children stand back-to-back on stage in theatrical costumes during Spring Term, Week 10: the boy wears a red-and-white striped jacket and hat, whilst the girl wears a white dress with red stripes and polka dots. Stage lights illuminate them. A group of children in fancy dress stand on stage with their arms raised, celebrating the audience at their Week 10 Spring Term theatrical performance. A "Home Sweet Home" backdrop and drawn furniture suggest a cosy setting, whilst the stage is dimly lit for atmosphere.
