Help your child find their own superb. An opportunity to learn from the best in a world-class setting.

Produced by professional musical director Robert Cousins, ably assisted by musical theatre specialists Chloe Shearer and Lucianne Grant, and with special West End guest star Hollie Taylor (Matilda / Oliver!), pupils will develop their performing arts skills in an exciting series of acting, dancing, and singing workshops.

As the course progresses, pupils may have the opportunity to work in the on-site professional recording studio. A live performance will mark the end of the five-day course. Click here for full details.

Information

robert cousins

Robert Cousins has worked as a professional musical director for over 20 years. Highlights include: Calamity Jane and Mack and Mabel in the West End, and national tours of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, 42nd Street, Oklahoma, High Society, and Singing In The Rain. Robert has taught all ages at various schools and conservatoires, including at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He is currently Director of Music and Performing Arts at St Andrew’s Prep Eastbourne as well as delivering GCSE and A-level classes at Eastbourne College. Robert is Musical Supervisor for Jordan Productions and has overseen the music for over 100 professional musicals and pantomimes, including the last 20 pantomimes performed at Eastbourne Theatres.


chloe shearer stars

Chloe Shearer trained and worked professionally in the performing arts industry before becoming a teacher, her speciality being musical theatre. She has been teaching individuals and group classes privately for over 10 years.

Her experience spans a variety of performing arts subjects including musical theatre, dance, drama, and choirs for ages four to adult. Chloe runs her own singing studio ‘Chloe Shearer Singing’ and is hugely passionate about sharing her love for performing arts with the next generation.


hollie taylor stars

Hollie Taylor has appeared in many West End musicals and national touring shows. West End highlights include Matilda, Oliver, High School Musical, and Goodnight Mr Tom. Hollie also toured with Goodnight Mr Tom, Fame and High Society.

Other theatre credits include Soho Cinders (Charing Cross Theatre), Scrooge (Leicester Curve), and Flat Out (Upstairs At The Gatehouse). Hollie also works regularly for Disney, Nickelodeon and Netflix as a voice artist for various animated series including Best Bugs Forever and Bat Pat.


lucianne grant stars

Lucianne Grant trained at Meads Dance Studio in ISTD ballet and modern, as well as jazz and LAMDA, before furthering her training in musical theatre at The Urdang Academy, London. She found a passion for teaching and enjoys a career teaching dance in several schools to children of all ages, and currently in her role as Dance Teacher at St Andrew’s Prep.

She has a real passion for musicals and has performed with local musical theatre companies in many principal and company roles such as 42nd Street, Copacabana, Top Hat, Into the Woods and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Lucianne has recently completed additional teacher training with the Royal Academy of Dance to further her teaching skill set.
