Russian Language Tutor

Eastbourne College is seeking a suitably experienced peripatetic Russian Language Tutor to teach pupils to the highest possible standards on a one-to-one basis as requested by parent/guardians.

The tutor will be required to teach to GCSE and A level in the College’s Modern Foreign Languages department.

The department is made up of an international team of highly qualified, enthusiastic and innovative members of staff who use the latest interactive and audio-visual. Our digital language laboratory allows for the extensive use of ICT facilities, audio and visual material, and digital video recording in the language learning process.

Grounds Person

 Eastbourne College is looking to recruit an experienced Grounds Person.  Applicants must have a full driving licence and be proficient in operating all types of grounds maintenance machinery, including tractor mounted mowing, aeration, rolling, fertiliser applications and pedestrian mounted equipment.  The position will require knowledge of sports surface maintenance including cricket, rugby, football and artificial surfaces.

NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Maintenance or equivalent is essential. 

PA1, PA2 & PA6 safe use of pesticides is desirable.

School Shop Manager (fixed term)

St Andrew’s Prep is seeking an experienced retail professional to manage the on-site School shop.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales of uniform, games kit, stationery and classroom resources; stock replenishment; and cash or credit card reconciliation. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly with pupils and parents, be presentable, IT proficient and have excellent organisational skills.

This is fixed-term role until end of Summer term 2020.  Hours will be 8.00am to 10.30am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, during term time, plus four weeks full time during School holidays. Flexibility is essential.
