Outstanding extra-curricular activities

Developing lifelong passions

*The film above shows just some of the extra-curricular opportunities offered to our pupils in the 2021 Summer term.

A really good prep school education includes much more than just academic teaching.

Here at St Andrew’s Prep, we offer breadth of opportunity through our before, during and after school activities programme and our Saturday activities which, combined, form our extra-curricular programme.

Our pupils sample and excel in a range of activities including but by no means limited to archery, art, ballet, boxercise, Brownies, carpentry, chess, coding, craft, cricket, fencing, fives, football, golf, hockey, Italian, lego clinic, mini cadets, musical theatre, netball, patchwork, sailing, Saturday strolls, school productions, shooting, Spanish, squash, swimming, table tennis and water polo. They are also encouraged to join our choirs and orchestras and every child is offered the opportunity to represent the school in sports.

In addition, each Saturday morning (except exeat weekends) our exciting activities programme runs for children in Years 4 to 8 who want to participate. Four sessions run between 9am and 12.30pm and children select the activities they would like to take part in.

Our extra-curricular programme provides opportunities for our pupils to work together while building friendships and benefitting themselves, the school and the wider community.
