St Andrew’s Prep U11 Football & Netball Festival
St Andrew’s Prep was delighted to host its annual U11 Football and Netball Festival this week, welcoming 14 teams from Cavendish, Langney, Ocklynge, Shinewater, St John’s, Stone Cross and Tollgate primary schools. The afternoon brought together pupils, staff and families for a very enjoyable event.
Our festival places emphasis on participation, skill development and creating a positive environment for young players. It was wonderful to see our visiting teams taking part in multiple short matches, encouraging one another throughout and gaining valuable competitive experience. Across both sports, staff and those on the sidelines remarked on the excellent teamwork, the enthusiasm shown by the players and the good spirit in which the festival was played.
Thank you to all participating teams and to the families and staff who helped make the afternoon a success for pupils as they came together to enjoy sport and build confidence in a supportive setting.
