Steeplechase 2019
Yesterday, 19 of our pupils from Years 7 and 8 took part in Eastbourne College’s Steeplechase across the South Downs, here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Our runners joined the Year 9 College pupils for the challenging run, taking in beautiful views of the coastline. Special congratulations to Sophie, who finished second in the girls’ Year 9 race, and to Mila and Poppy who were also highly placed. The boys race was run over a slightly extended course and Noah Titterton-Manos finished especially well in the Year 9 event. Each of our runners was totally committed to their individual challenge and displayed grit and determination. Well done all.
