U11 Girls and U13 boys through to Hockey Regionals
Many congratulations to the Under 11 Girls’ Hockey team which retained the Under 11 Sussex title this week. The girls played six matches winning the first five against Claremont, Brighton College, Battle Abbey, Burgess Hill and Ocklynge without conceding a goal. Only Bede’s stretched the team, pushing St Andrew’s to a 2-2 draw. The girls will be joined by the Senior Boys’ team at the regional finals in Woking next month. The boys were runners up at their Sussex Championship tournament today and the Senior Girls’ team was placed a creditable third.
