Celebrating Creativity: Masterpieces Art Exhibition and Auction Opens
The Masterpieces Art Exhibition and Auction is now open, inviting the Eastbourne community to explore and bid on an inspiring collection of artwork while supporting the Blue Sky Bursaries Appeal.
Bringing together work from pupils at St Andrew’s Prep and Eastbourne College alongside contributions from local artists and supporters, the exhibition celebrates creativity in all its forms. From colourful early-years artwork to accomplished paintings, textiles and photography, the collection showcases the imagination, talent and artistic development of young people across our schools.
The exhibition also features a diverse range of works donated by professional artists and members of the local creative community. Highlights include a limited-edition print by renowned artist Robert Tavener, generously donated by Emma Mason Prints, alongside pieces by local photographer Matt Garcia, artist and tattooist Jessica Langstreth, landscape artist Marcus Cherrill, portrait artist Lindy Dunbar, Alex Vanotti and Fi Nolan.
With bidding starting from just £5, the auction offers something for everyone – whether you’re looking for an affordable piece of original artwork, a unique gift or a special addition to your collection.
The exhibition is on display in the Birley Centre at Eastbourne College and can be viewed in person by appointment. Visitors are warmly encouraged to explore the collection first-hand and discover the breadth of talent on display.

All proceeds from the auction will support the Blue Sky Bursaries Appeal, helping to open up opportunities for talented young people to benefit from an education at St Andrew’s Prep and Eastbourne.
The Masterpieces Art Auction closes at 10.00pm on Monday 29 June.
