Speech Day 2026 Celebrates a Year of Success at St Andrew’s Prep
Held at the Congress Theatre, the occasion brought together pupils, staff, families and governors for an afternoon of celebration and reflection.
Headmaster Tom Gregory congratulated pupils on another successful year and reflected on the many accomplishments of the school community.
A highlight of the ceremony was an address from Old Androvian and Old Eastbournian Ben Wolstenholme. Now an acclaimed director, artist and designer working across television, film, animation and spatial design, returning to his former school, he shared insights from his creative career and encouraged pupils to pursue their interests with confidence and curiosity.
A particularly memorable moment came from the three Head Boys and Girls, whose heartfelt and inspiring speeches reflected on their time at St Andrew’s Prep. Sharing treasured memories and words of gratitude, they spoke with warmth, humour and sincerity, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Awards were presented across a range of disciplines, celebrating excellence, effort and commitment, while Year 8 pupils were recognised as they prepare to move on to their senior schools.
Speech Day provided a fitting opportunity to reflect on another successful year and thank pupils, staff and families for all they have contributed to life at St Andrew’s Prep.
Congratulations to all our pupils on a fantastic year and best wishes to our Year 8 leavers for the exciting journeys ahead.
