St Andrew’s Day 2018

St Andrew’s Day is without doubt one of the most exciting days for our pupils. The morning was kicked off by the Pre-Prep hat parade. A huge number of stunning creations were on display, from football pitches to racing cars and almost a full-sized giraffe! The children proudly displayed their hats cheered on by parents,  staff and the Prep school children.

After a formal service led by Headmaster Mr Jones, our Year 8 children treated the remainder of the Prep school pupils to games around the school, including face painting, dancing, Nerf Wars, Scalextrics and pillow-fighting, among others. The Brownies also organised a cake sale, which was very popular.

The children then enjoyed a traditional roast for lunch which served as a perfect break for the children to refuel before the much anticipated St Andrew’s Day show. Organised and hosted by our gap year students, and including sketches, songs and dancing from our talented pupils, it was an excellent finale to a thoroughly enjoyable day for the whole of the school community.
