What is the Early Androvian Award?
The Early Androvian Award offers a 30% reduction in school fees each year from Reception to the end of Year 2 for children joining in September 2026.The Award has been made possible with the help of an external donor who recognises both the impact VAT has had on affordability and the lasting value of an independent education.
Who is eligible to apply?
Any family interested in joining Reception in September 2026 is eligible.
What is the financial value of the Award?
The Award offers a 30% reduction on the full published fees (including VAT) for each of the three years in Pre-Prep. This equates to a cost saving of nearly £14,000 over three years (based on our 2025–26 fee schedule) and is subject to annual review. If you would like a fee projection please email our Registrar, Catherina Ashford, or call her on 01323 733203.
Does the remission include VAT?
Yes. The 30% remission applies to the full VAT-inclusive fee, making the saving clear and straightforward.
Do the remaining fees we pay include VAT?
Yes. Residual fees shared with families will always be VAT inclusive.
How can we pay the fees? Is there a termly or monthly option?
Fees may be paid by direct debit in 10 equal monthly instalments or by term, with invoices issued and payable before the start of each term. The choice of payment method is entirely yours. Please refer to the Admissions Policy for further details.
Will fees stay the same for the full three years?
Fees are reviewed annually, so may be subject to change. However, your 30% remission will apply consistently regardless of any amendments to the published fee.
Is the Award means-tested?
No. The Award isn’t means‑tested. It’s an introductory opportunity made possible by our generous donor, who appreciates the positive impact an independent education at St Andrew’s Prep has in these important early years. We expect high demand, so we encourage families to apply early.
We are unsure about whether to apply? Should we still get in touch?
Absolutely. Please don’t let uncertainty be a barrier. We are very happy to discuss your situation, answer questions and help you understand your options. Our aim is to make this process as supportive and accessible as possible.
What does the Award not cover?
