Maths Challenge
St Andrew’s welcomed 78 children from 12 local schools as they took part in a Year 5 Maths Challenge. The children were engaged in a variety of mathematical activities for much of the afternoon with the top scorers taking part in a hit or miss number game to win prizes at the end. The Year 8 children who volunteered to mark were a credit to St Andrew’s. All the children joined their parents for tea in the dining room after the challenge.
