Charleston Poetry Festival
St Andrew’s Prep was represented by 35 Year 3 to 5 pupils at the much anticipated Charleston Manor Poetry Festival.
Within the magnificent setting of the Great Barn, each child recited a poem to their teachers and parents. A tremendous tea was offered to guests following the recital and the children were given the opportunity to play and explore in the grounds of the Manor House.
The Headmaster said ‘I am very proud of the children for having the confidence and ability to recite a poem in front of such a large audience and they have returned to school inspired and stimulated. They are to be warmly congratulated.’
